Do you want to see what cycling can do for your wellbeing?
This is an opportunity to participate in a small, all-inclusive, group cycling activity. We want you to achieve three objectives.
- Decide if cycling is for you?
- Discover whether it really gives you a buzz of wellbeing.
- Learn some technical cycle skills to suit your aspirations.
We will make sure that you can try out different types of cycle and give you a good long “go” on the machine of your choice.
You can learn how to try out different kinds of cycles tailored to your needs. You can discuss how you might be able to use cycling as a route to feeling good and getting about. Discover how to build up your strength and stamina. Think about whether a cycle of your own would be possible or practicable.
This is a course that has clear objectives without being formally accredited.

They brought a variety of bikes to suite the wide range of disabilities and the staff were very encouraging and could not do enough to get everyone active and have a successful experience on the bikes.’

Leicester Wheels for All have attended our open to all cycling event at the Kirkby Mallory Race circuit for a number of years and have given all participants an opportunity to have a go on their adapted bikes which is a great way of giving people a different perspective on cycling and some of the challenges less able-bodied people face. The staff have always been happy to speak to people about the work they do.’

This course is:
- Either a two or three hour session with adapted cycles.
- It promotes well being and cycling skills
- It is run in an environment tailored to participants’ needs.
Who can apply
The best way to enjoy our services is as part of an appropriately sized group so that you can have a choice of cycles to try and spend at least 30 minutes cycling the machine or machines of your choice. It is an all-inclusive course for all abilities.
