This tennis course is an introduction to playing the game. Individual attention is given to help everyone develop to the best of their ability.

Anyone for Tennis?

Each week we focus on a different tennis stroke but make sure that everyone remains active through games and small group work.

It is being run by Market Harborough Tennis Club. Fully qualified coaches lead the session helped by volunteers from Market Harborough Tennis Club.

We play at the club which is situated in the picturesque Recreation Ground at Great Bowden.

The 1 hour session starts with a warm up activity which then is followed by games using equipment to improve mobility including jumping over small hurdles. From there we split across several courts to work on ball feeding exercises which promote personal development. Volunteers are on hand to work with individuals or groups as need be.

Finally we finish with a game to find the `Champion for the Day`

‘It is inspirational coaching these students and watching their progress'
Head Coach Gordon Amos.
