Social Enterprises for adults with learning disability and mental health needs
Want to find out how to make some money? Learn how to make your own by setting up your very own social enterprise or working with other people in partnership. We can definitely recommend it.

Social Enterprises

Ever dreamt of being a business guru? This course can help you to come up with different enterprise ideas and help you to sell them.

You will deliberate ideas as a group and share them to come up with a list of different enterprise ideas. These can be either a physical product, for example; a bird feeder. Or the idea could be a service that you could provide such as house cleaning. From this list you will decide which ideas are most likely to sell well and which ones can be done for the most profit. You will identify who is likely to buy them and how to keep the cost of providing goods or services to a minimum and this will include the possibility of recycling old ideas.

From this course you will learn about working together to make the most of a good idea. You will learn about customers and about the work involved in an enterprise activity.

We make bird feeders and charge for them, I like it because I find it relaxing and I learn how to make my own money. I learn a lot. Next time we are making bracelets
