See the fruits of your labours as you work the land to grow crops and vegetables on a local allotment.
This course will enable you to choose, and use, the right tools for the right gardening task. You will find out how to spot a weed and get rid of it so it won’t grow back. You will learn about different seeds, how to plant them, transplant them and then nurture them to maturity.
And let’s not forget about harvesting all those beautiful crops ready for the chef’s table or flower vase! You will learn everything you need to create this wonderful produce.
All of these gardening specific tasks will help you to develop the social skills and communication techniques needed to succeed, embedding English and Maths.
